Hydraloop ensures perfect and certified recycled water quality to save up to 45% on domestic water consumption

With a Hydraloop system, you can recycle up to 95% of shower & bath and optionally 50% of washing machine water so you recycle and reuse up to 85% of total in-house domestic water. Due to its innovative and breakthrough technology, the system offers an excellent water quality, which is clean, clear, safe and certified and can be reused for toilet flushing, washing machine, garden irrigation or to top-up a swimming pool.

 

The Hydraloop works completely automatically. The Hydraloop smartphone App informs the amount of water you recycle & save per day/week/month. With the Hydraloop home App, you can also optimize water saving, as it will assist and inform you. For example if, or at what time, there is sufficient recycled water to run the washing machine (If there is an insufficient supply of recycled water, the Hydraloop will automatically switch to its back-up water). And if, for example, back-up water was used to flush the toilets or run the washing machine, the App will recommend enjoying a longer shower, as you use the water anyway. With the Hydraloop home App, you can also choose what priority you give to the usage of the recycled water; toilet flushing, washing machine, or garden/pool.

With a Hydraloop home you also save energy in autumn, winter and spring in regions with cooler winter seasons, where mains water temperatures can be as low as 8°C (48°F). 

The Hydraloop home energy saving comes in three ways in these cooler seasons: 

 

1. The Hydraloop home is installed indoors. The collected shower, bath and optionally washing machine/hand basin water release their remaining warmth to the surrounding area by means of radiation, thus saving energy keeping this area warm.

 

2. The washing machine uses recycled Hydraloop water which is already at an ambient temperature of 20°C (68°F) so it needs less electricity to heat the water from 20°C (68°F) to 40°C (100°F), compared to from 8°C (48°F) to 40°C (100°F), herewith saving energy.

3. Normally, a 4-person family flushes their toilets with 130 liters (34 gallons) of mains water/day of 8°C (48°F), herewith importing cold water inside the house, which your central heating system will heat again to ambient temperature after each flush. With a Hydraloop system, the recycled Hydraloop water serving the toilets is at an ambient temperature of 20°C (68°F) so no cold water is imported, herewith saving energy and money. The calculated energy saving for a 4-person family home is 7339 MJ primary energy/year, i.e. the equivalent of an electricity saving of 600kWh/year.

Centrally collected water from hand basins and showers in commercial buildings, but also fitness centers, sports clubs, student houses, etc. can be recycled and reused for toilet flushing, washing machine, and garden irrigation. With a Hydraloop Cascade, the required capacity can easily be configured by the amount of Hydraloop units that are interconnected into one Hydraloop Cascade recycling plant. We offer made-to-measure solutions for your project.

 

Sustainability requirements for buildings are becoming increasingly demanding and in general, there is a growing movement making buildings more sustainable. Also, real estate investors require sustainability certifications for their property such as LEED and BREEAM certification. Installing water recycle solutions is a profitable investment. LODGES

By installing Hydraloop units in individual lodges water from hand basins, baths and showers can be collected and reused for toilet flushing, garden irrigation, and pool top-up. Additionally, water may be used for external use such as solar panel cleaning, etc.
