Efficient water management in a water-scarce landscape.
In the arid landscape of Southern California, where water scarcity and rising utility costs are critical concerns, Alfred and Kay Tetzner sought a solution to manage household water use efficiently. Their answer: a Hydraloop H600 system, an advanced water recycling device that collects, cleans, and reuses greywater from showers, baths, and washing machines.
The solution.
The Hydraloop H600 treats greywater and reuses it for toilets, washing machines, and garden irrigation. By recycling water within the home, the system reduces reliance on expensive freshwater and ensures every drop is put to multiple uses.
The result.
For this two-person household, Hydraloop dramatically lowered water bills, from $350 to under $160 per month, while cutting water consumption in a region where conservation is crucial. Alfred Tetzner explains:
“Our Hydraloop took us out of Tiers 4 and 3, which are very pricey on the US coast of California. Now, instead of wasting water and money, we’re saving both. Plus, it’s a great feeling to know we’re doing our part to conserve water in such a dry region.”
