The Holmes home
1 x H300 unit
131.400 liters | 34,712 US gallons
Pioneering greywater recycling in the Middle East
Marc Holmes, a race car driver and entrepreneur who splits his time between the United Kingdom and Dubai, chose a holiday villa on Palm Jumeirah that reflects his commitment to sustainability. Renovated three years ago with eco-friendly materials, the villa now features the first-ever Hydraloop installation in the Middle East.
The solution.
A Hydraloop H300, situated in the garage, collects greywater from showers, baths, and the washing machine. The treated water is reused for toilet flushing and laundry, creating a smart, circular water system in a region where water conservation is increasingly critical.
The result.
By recycling household greywater, Marc’s villa achieves up to 45% savings on both tap water and wastewater. This pioneering installation demonstrates how modern, luxury homes can integrate innovative technology to reduce environmental impact while maintaining convenience and comfort.
