The Paladino home
1 x H600 unit
262.800 liters | 69,424 US gallons
Elevated design meets circular water innovation.
In hurricane-prone Little Torch Key, Florida, Natalia and Alan Padalino have built a two-floor elevated home designed to withstand the elements while prioritizing sustainability and efficiency. Constructed on stilts to protect against flooding, their residence exemplifies forward-thinking design: resilient, modern, and environmentally conscious.
The solution.
At the heart of their home’s sustainability strategy is a Hydraloop H600 system. The unit collects, treats, and recycles greywater from showers, baths, and the washing machine, safely reusing it for toilet flushing and laundry.
The result.
Even during the Padalinos’ 9-month part-time use of the home before moving in full-time, the Hydraloop system saved over 15,000 liters (3,962 gallons) of water. Beyond environmental benefits, the installation earned 2 ROGO Points toward their Florida Keys building permit, potentially saving $20,000–$140,000 in fees.
Natalia & Alan reflect:
“Hydraloop stood out as the only solution that could be seamlessly integrated into our home whilst delivering the highest quality reclaimed water. The system is easy to monitor and control through the app, and the support from Hydraloop was exceptional from start to finish. We truly believe every home should have one.”
