Job opening: Channel Sales Manager (Middle East)

Description
At Hydraloop we have a vision that in 10 years’ time no building will be built without its own grey-water recycling system. We believe water recycling should become a standard item in every single home and building, just like climate control, solar panels, or a heat pump.
To assist us in delivering and increasing revenue growth, we are looking for a Channel Manager (CM) for our Middle East market to develop, service, and grow relationships with channel partners. As our Channel Manager, you will lead essential aspects of activities, such as, developing and executing sales strategies, negotiating with partners and training and developing their sales teams.
An important part this role is business development in the Middle East and expansion of connections with the sustainable community. You will actively serve as a link between Hydraloop Middle East and potential new channel partners, such as developers, builders, sustainability advocates, associations and others. Based in Sharjah, UAE, you will also collaborate with senior management in developing the strategic goals for the Middle East region and support in strategic initiatives.
Specific Responsibilities
Your specific responsibilities will be directed by the Hydraloop Middle East Managing Director and will include but not be limited to:
Manage Relationships with Channel Partners
Be the key point of contact and coordinator between Hydraloop Middle East and channel partners
Set sales objectives with channel partners
Negotiate channel partner contracts and renewals
Work closely with the partner account team to strengthen partnerships and go-to-market execution
Monitor Sales and Channel Partner Results
Create, set and monitor Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports
Present KPI reports to senior management
Training of Channel Partners
Collaborate with Hydraloop HQ in training content creation
Implementation of company training processes
Training of channel partners and their staff on company offerings
Coordinate technical trainings with the Hydraloop Middle East technical team and/or with Hydraloop HQ
Business Development
Research potential sources for recruiting qualified channel partners
Become a subject matter expert on Hydraloop, use cases and value proposition for partners, and partner value propositions by geography and industry in the region
Participate in development of Hydraloop presentations (including assisting in drafting pitch deck, tailored presentations etc…)
Present Hydraloop Middle East to new, potential channel partners
Events and Trade Shows
Participate in preparation and advertising of events, in-person and virtual
Be present at trade shows and perform a business development role
Evaluate domestic and international events and trade shows for possible participation and/or attendance
Qualifications Feel free to contact us if you find yourself in the mix of following characteristics:
6+ years of B2B business development or account management experience. Channel Partner experience is strongly preferred
Experience crafting and implementing sales strategies to meet monthly sales quotas
Confident negotiator, including contracts and growth plans with current and prospective partners
Able to use leadership and sales acumen to train and develop sales staff
Sharp analytical skills to analyse KPI's to determine the health of a channel partner relationship.
Knowledge of basic business tools, such as, Excel, e-mail and social media
Experience with CRM, MS Office, MS Teams or similar tools preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic
Someone dynamic, creative and willing to take on challenges in developing new opportunities
A self-starter who is willing to contribute to a strong team spirit
Eager to advance a sustainable future
